Amy Winehouse is undergoing tests in a hospital in London after fainting at her North London home, a spokesperson has confirmed.
The singer was “doing admin” at her Camden home before she was taken unwell.
It’s understood that Winehouse’s assistant was able to prevent the singer from falling and that her father, Mitch, accompanied her to hospital.
Doctors at the London Clinic in Marylebone said that Winehouse might be kept in overnight for observation.
Winehouse’s spokesperon said that the singer had just returned from signing autographs for fans waiting outside her home when the incident happened.
Winehouse, who is battling to overcome a problem with drugs, is due to make a number of UK festival appearances this summer.

Cheryl and Ashley Cole have sparked fresh speculation over the state of their marriage -- after the Chelsea footballer showed up to his Brother's wedding alone.
Girls Aloud singer, Cheryl, 24, was on the seating plan, but nowhere to be seen as Matthew Cole married fiancee Lisa.
Ashley, 27, was best man for the ceremony, watched by more than 100 guests at a 16th-century hotel near Hatfield Heath, Essex.
Matthew had been best man for Ashley's 500,000 ($1m) bash at a Hertfordshire, East England, mansion in 2006. But the marriage has been rocky ever since he was caught cheating on a night out with pals.
Cheryl is today filming auditions in Manchester as an X Factor judge.
LATEST: Members of the Screen Actors' Guild (SAG) have denied plans for an immediate strike against Hollywood studios despite their contract's expiration on Monday (30Jun08).
Union bosses have been involved in crucial contract talks with film and TV studio bosses to prevent another strike similar to the The Writers Guild of America's walkout, which brought Hollywood to a standstill from November (07) until February (08).
Actors have threatened walkouts at the time of their contract's expiration if talks between the unions and major film studios failed to resolve a dispute over pay and working conditions.
But despite the lack of resolution, SAG president and working actor Alan Rosenberg has insisted a strike is not forthcoming in the immediate future.
He says, "We have taken no steps to initiate a strike-authorisation vote."
The SAG members dismissed a previously agreed deal between studio bosses and members of the American Federation of Television and Radio Artists (AFTRA) - suggesting it undermines their own contract.
Members of the union called upon heavyweights Jack Nicholson and Ben Stiller to urge AFTRA leaders to reject the deal just last week (begs23Jun08).
